Professional
Norwegian biathlete

After some weeks training in the hills by Lillehammer, we are now on our first day of our training camp here in Italy. I’m here together with the rest of the National Biathlon team of Norway. We’re in Alpe de Siusi, in the Italian Dolomites. We will stay here for a week before we move our training to Obertilliach in Austria, and will be there one week.

We live at 2100m, and we’re here because exercising in such altitude is very good for the endurance. The exercise we practice in the altitude is very slow, due to the lack of oxygen makes the restitution so much longer. The outcome of this is better endurance and competition strength.

As you can see, the weather is incredible. Sun, blue sky, and a really beautiful landscape. We’re lucky to practice our “job” in these conditions!

Taking organic Omega-3 fish oil of Norway daily, helps recovery in these beautiful but tough exercise environment ☺
